Our Ethical Standards

Our manufacturer also has their own Fair Trade Policies in place for all their employees, which are listed below, so you can feel confident knowing your This Darling Day purchase contributes to the livelihood and positive working environment of our amazing manufacturing team in Bali.

  2. 25 days paid holidays, while typically in Bali the standard is 12 days

  3. Healthy and nutritional meals provides for all staff during work hours, to ensure no employee has to worry about food

Additionally, our manufacturer is part of the #WhoMadeMyClothes movement, a campaign started by Fashion Revolution in 2013 to make a change in the fashion industry by making consumers more conscious of where their clothing comes from and, more importantly, who made them.

We are committed to maintaining high-quality standards in our products. By manufacturing small batches of clothing, we minimise wastage and avoid contributing to fast fashion. Our items are designed to be durable and long-lasting, allowing them to become treasured heirloom garments, passed on or passed down through generations to be loved for years to come.

From the soil to the seams, each season's collection at This Darling Day is created with love and mother nature at its heart. We prioritise the use of natural, biodegradable fabric dyes and all our pieces are made from 100% organic cotton to avoid harmful chemicals, and to ensure that every garment is safe for your darling one, as well as the cotton growers and future generations.
